I've started drawing cartoons again.

At the risk of sounding like an advert, the Apple Pencil has re-ignited by interest in drawing cartoons. I used to draw them by hand, but I could never colour them digitally and keep them looking sharp and clean. Scanning in hand drawn illustrations always resulted in the line quality losing something, and I didn't have a Wacom Cintiq tablet for occasional doodles.

The Apple Pencil, combined with Procreate on an iPad Pro, has made so many logistical problems go away. I think it's made me better at cartooning. More than that, it's made drawing and colouring fun again - the most fun since I was a child.

Armed with my Apple pencil and little inspiration I doodled a baby that was crying in a restaurant. For no particularly good reason I teamed him up with a ninja and drew a few episodes of a silly web comic:
